how many people are allowed in delivery suite?

sorry to ask all these questions about delivery but how many people are allowed to be at your bedside while you're pushing?

are you having a visit around ur labour suite? ask your midwife or ask there.. its different at every hospital..

I had 3, they said they werent expecting that many, its usually just 2 but didnt chuck anyone out.

ok thanks ladies. i will get that confirmed with my midwife but i'm in the process of being transferred to a new hospital that's why i asked on the forum. i think it will be my hubby and my mum!

mine said they didnt mind as long as no-one got in the way. best to call your delivery suite to check

mine sed2/3 max and they have to be birth partners and have been there throughout, you cnt just invite someone in during pushing stage if they aint been with you or after bubs is born you cant swap. some hospitals do let ppl visit in the delivery suite tho so ask about that, mine desnt however, cus they wouldnt let my dad come in to see her before i was taken upto the ward.

i had my husband and my son but my mum and dad did visit but they didnt seem to mind but they were only there about 30 mins

 

At the hospital I gave birth in it was only 1 person
