How many Bodysuits have you bought?

I have been told to buy LOADS of these.. Whats the definition of loads lol..

So far I have...

7 x Newborn
20 x 0-3 Months

How many do you guys have? x

I'm not sure about other people, but I go through about 3-4 short sleeve and long sleeve babygrows a day and that's on a good day. E is always messing hers with vomit or poo's and needs constant changing. Hubby is doing a full load of her washing every second day.

I have long sleeve and short sleeve thingys with legs and ones without legs. Lol. Which are babygrows? The ones with legs??

Bless you Olive, yep the long leg ones are baby grows and the others are body suits.. I think any way..

Hmmm.. So we all seem to only have a similar amount..

Right lets work this out... Newborn baby will stay in newborn clothes for approx 1 week, so lets say we change the babys body suits due to poopy nappies 3 times a day.. That would mean we would need approx 21 Newborn bodysuits... Right am of shopping lol

I would have said bodysuits were the all-in-ones with arms and legs, the short/long sleeved legless things are vests! I def think you need more vests than bodysuits as when nappies explode/leak its the vests that take the brunt of the mess! You can keep your bodysuits a bit cleaner by leaving a bib on your baby if they are a sicky one!

Although I was kinda thinking that a lot of people buy those sets of suits - like where you get maybe 7 peices, and theres long/short sleeved suits, and vests etc all in a bundle - so didnt want to buy to many to start with.

My baby is quite small and still in newborn stuff at 9 weeks, I was given lots of babygros but 0-3 or 3-6 months and had to buy more newborn stuff. Luckily I'm not changing him 3-4 times a day though, more like twice if he has an exploding nappy. I guess it depends on the baby and the estimated weight at birth.

Lol I kno but I figured by the time I'd have a full load of baby clothes to wash I'd have no bodysuits left..

Or I could hand wash I guess.

I wish this baby came with an instruction manual lol x

ive got about 6 to 9 newborn babygrows and then a pack of 7 vest suit thingy in 0-3 and 2 or 3 packs (3 in a pack) of 0-3 babygrows. i also got a newborn starter pack of clothes with vests suits mitts hats and boots in and a couple of other packs i think lol. havent counted really just put it in the babys room in bags after each shopping trip

my mum has gone insane on baby shopping friends also, still got a baby shower in 2 weeks too so trying to just buy little bits for the nursery and stuff that i know i want as think i could end up with too much! grandparents are going to be spoiling my little boys by the sound of things! x
