Just wondering as at the moment Sam only seems to settle for daytime naps in the magic sling! It's the only thing to calm him when he's frantic and crying.
I have a Chicco one but just ordered a fab Babyhawk mei tai :D
Am a bit worried he's in it too much, but i'd never get anything done otherwise!

Dont worry about it hun you cant over a use a sling honestly. Thea lived in her as a baby and still spends a fair bit of time in them now when we are out and about. Sometimes now she brings me one and asks for up then goes to sleep lol.

He's in it whenever we're out, which is most days and can be up to 5 or 6 hours (I take him out to feed/change if I stop somewhere like for lunch) and around the house as well - I wear him when I'm doing the housework or if he needs a nap and won't go to sleep.

But I'd say he's in one at least an hour a day even if we don't go out :)

Well today has been the longest lil miss has been out of the sling mainly cos I have sunburnt and well I don't care wot anyone says, slings do hurt when you have sunburn... mind my bra straps hurt too... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

lil miss can spend around 5 hours a day in the sling if we go out, but if we are indoors she spends more time on the floor... Its important for older babies to get plenty of floor time, but if she is being extra clingy or I'm trying to get her to sleep, she goes in the sling... But when lil miss was tiny she was in it almost all day every day.

Today shes been under the weather and I'm telling you, carrying a baby around in your arms is bloody tiring, dunno how other mothers do it... slings ftw!!!! :cheer: :cheer:
