How Long Did You Ladies Bleed For?

I started having a miscarriage 15th July and had an EPU appointment on the 18th of July they done a scan and found nothing there, so they took bloods and told me my level was 136 and that i was miscarrying

They said that it could be epotic so to come back in a week for more bloods.
A week later i went back for more bloods and my results came back at 16...
They told me that they no longer needed to see me as my level is now dropping nicely...
But now its 4 weeks since the start of my miscarriage and i am STILL spotting blood and brown discharge (sorry TMI)
It's not period flow at all, just enough to wear a panty liner, some days it's alot more blood than others..
Is this normal??
I am starting to get a little worried...
Any ideas when it may stop? xxxxx

I had a D&C with mine , but bleed for a good few weeks, and really with a D&C they take all away so should be far less bleeding than a natural MC which I guess could take longer.

My next period started 26 days later (counting from D&C day) and started like your bleeding now, really light and annoying and then bled properly and then tailed back to light for a total of 10 days or so

Do you think you could have gone straight onto your next period?
If your not sure do go and speak to your GP,as i think MC after care, advice and support is shocking nowadays X

I bled for 7 days with mine. Have a chat with your gp, some people do have their period straight after a mc

I was recently pregnant. At 4+5 I started spotting brown, after two days went to pink, then bright red. I went and had a scan, they said my lining was thin and they couldn't see anything.

They did weekly blood tests to monitor the pregnancy hormone (they like to monitor it until it is below 5 here) well 4 weeks later I was still spotting, then it started heavy again .. I thought this was my period, but it seemed odd as I have never really finished bleeding, yanno?

I called the Dr, they had me in for a scan, saw a huge cyst on my right ovary (sign of ectopic) took bloods. In the mean time I was doubled over from cramps and puking. Blood tests come back and were over 500 (previous blood test they had been below 70) .. was ectopic and I ended up having emergency surgery and lost my right tube in the 29th July at 9wks pregnant. (They also did a D&C) After this, I bled for 3 days.

I'm not typing this to scare you, but if I can tell my story and save another girl having to go thru this ...

I had a M/C at 7 wks about 6 years ago, I think I bled for like 2 weeks after that.

If it were me? I'd call the Dr and explain whats going on. Hopefully it's nothing serious you know? Just taking a while for the M/C to work its self out, but its better to be safe than sorry.
If you start getting ANY bad pains what so ever.. go to A&E right away.

Sorry it's taking so long to get back to normal .. like a persistent kick in the gut .. *hugs* Sorry for your loss, Chica.
