how long did it take for your benefits to start being paid after you applied? desperatly needed money sent everythin off week ago, i am expecting it to take forever .. xx

mine took a few weeks, the benefits took about 2/3 weeks, the surestart grant took about a month . I didnt get vouchers, as i don't "qualify" I think it's because we are over 18

Thank god you get them backdated!!!

surestart grant.. not sure if i'll get it, as not yet gettin tax credits?
vouchers didnt know was age limit? xx

i think its a combination of our circumstances that means we dont get the vouchers dam!!

im not sure, depends if you're working, or if OH works, but i'd think you should get the grant, its a big help

i'm on maternity, without partner..

id say ya have a good chance then hun! keep checking ur bank, mine went in and i didnt even reaslise until i got a letter about it 2 days later!

btw your wee man is just gorge

hehe thank you, so is urs, he looks like prooper lil man dead cheeki looking hehe..

i check my bank regulary i'll get a huge shock if it goes in, i'll be out the door spoiling my lil man to a few cute things hehe xx

erm my benefits took about 6 to 8 weeks, i got refued th egrant untikl my tax credits came thru n then had to re apply. then it took around 4 weeks my tax credits took about 4 weeks and u only get vouhcers if u have the highest tax credits and ur not with a partner or earn to much if u are with one. xx
