oliver is cutting all 4 of his first molars. top and bottom both sides. the gums look red around where the tooth is coming through.

I've been giving him calpol, but how many days can I give it to him for? I give it to him in the morning, and at night before bed. But I've just checked and I can see his top eye tooth is about to break through too.

He can be pretty unhappy when his teeth are coming through but I read on the bottle that calpol can only be given for 3 days straight.

what can i do?!

Might be worth giving you HV a call or your gp to see what they say, have you tried teething gel or powders instead of calpol give it a break for a couple of day and maybe start again.

i would prob ring your docs though to see what theyt say.

no i havent actually. i have some gel i think its the calpol stuff too. though i darnt put my fingers in his mouth cause he bites me! ive been trying to get a look see how his tongue tie is but i cant get close enough yet!. will try when hes asleep lol

It's fine to give it as long as he needs. x x x

Hope the wee lamb gets over this soon x x x

connor's cutting 3 teeth atm - the 4th broke through a couple of days ago.

i'm using a combo of:

* teething necklace
* ashton & parsons powder
* bonjela
* calpol
* nurofen

calpol & nurofen are reserved for nighttime and i use the other options first :) :)
