how long are you up with baby at night?

argh when amber was that small it took us forever....poor little might had colic though.

Sometimes it could take us a couple of hours trying everything and in the end it was rocking her in her moses basket which did it...lol

now it takes minutes sometimes woooo

after i switched to the bottle in the night it takes about 30-40mins to get her fed and back down. I only change the nappy if she lets us know she is uncomfortable otherwise she will be awake and screaming.

I always keep it dark and i dont speak or interact with her - its a strictly business only feed!

cos when leah wakes, it takes me an hour - hour and a half to get her back down after ive fed and changed her.

how long are you up with yours?

When Maia was little it was 1-2 hours before I could settle her at night, I know how you feel!

I don't remember exactly when it improved, possibly about 8-10 weeks?

or not in the case of both my daughters...they don't care about wet bums...

Mine doesn't even care about a poo bum! Little madam seems to like lying in her own muck!

I found Pampers baby dry in size two, but that might have been a one off as I haven't seen them since....not sure about other makes!!

I might be labelled a bad mum for this but...

don't change her at night Kim, unless she's pooed or leaked. It just makes more work for yourself and is likely to wake her up even more.

Ash was fine in his nappy overnight from birth and we just used the pampers new baby ones.

On the odd occasion we have changed him at nigth he screams the place down and I mean screams! So it really upsets him.

I take Evie out of her crib when she starts stirring..bang the bottle in the warmer..change her nappy then get the bottle in her gob. Quick wind and back to bed... she'll normally go back to sleep on her own if she hasn't already fallen asleep. The whole process usually takes about 20-30 mins :cheer:
