How long after sweep did you go ito labour?

i'm having a sweep today at 3.15, was just wondering for all those who had sweeps, how long after did you actually go into labour?

I had my sweep at 2pm...went into labour at 7pm...and had my baby at 10pm!

Sweep never worked for me - I still had to be induced.

I had a sweep at 9am on the Wednesday. I had small contractions on Thursday morning that didn't develop into anything. Friday evening I started again and continued to labour until she was born on Monday morning at 3.30.

She was stuck, I'm sure your labour won't be as long

My waters broke 24 hours after a sweep and he was born 48 hours after sweep

had my sweep and lost my plug the next morning but still had to be induced.

I had mine at 9am Thursday, was 2cm dilated already apparently... started painful labour at 11am Friday morning and had Ryan at 8.27 Friday evening

I had 3 sweeps - none of them worked, a week later I had my waters broken.....I don't think LO wanted to come out!!

just had sweep, i was 2 cm dialated already so she thinks it'll work! having lower backache and tightenings already and its only been an hour and half! hope its the start of something

I had a sweep on the Friday afternoon and gave birth at 11.12am on the Sunday

I had my sweep on the Tuesday morning. I was booked in to be induced the following monday, but gave birth early hours Sunday morning. So don't think the sweep worked as they told me if it worked it'd be 48 hours after.
