How do you know baby is engaging??

I think my munchkin may be starting to get into position which is great but wanted to check how everyone else knew when baby was getting engaged.

I think munchkin is because I am getting pains like period pains which I havent had before and the bottom of my belly aches more when walking.

Does this sound about right?

my little mans head keeps popping in and out, when it's in it feels like grinding/scraping pains in my pelvis and i can feel a lot of pressure..

mines doing that and has been doign it for the past 4 days or so.
it lasts for about 4 hours then in 'pops' back out again!

i get pressure like pains across the bottom of my bump along with really bad back ache and 'the john waynes'.

i'm almost 31 weeks too. and this is the only thing i recognise from first time round!

mine feeels mire uncomfortable at the bottom of the bump, but never lasts long.
