How can I increase the chances of implantation?

Hi guys....I'm after some advice again.

AF turned up yesterday and I was actually really surprised (and hearthbroken). I had a bleed on Monday which I thought was an implanation bleed and sort of still do, I just think that implanation wasn't successful. I had lots of symptoms that I noticed increased on Tuesday and then disappeared altogether.

So my question is... is there anything I can do to increase the chance of implantation this month (assuming we can catch the egg again)?

Thanks for any suggestions.
Lisa

Not sure about increasing the chances of implantation just wanted to say sorry the witch got you   and send you babydust for this month

Sorry she got you Lisa. it happens for you soon.

Hate to sound negative but don't think there's anything you can really do to improve implantation, just got to trust that your body knows what it's doing. Maybe this month things weren't quite right and that's why the egg didn't implant.

Good luck for next month

I think the only thing you can do is to not stress over it.......

The month I got my BFP I didnt think there was a hope in hell as we only BD'ed once (I ovulated a week earlier than the previous month and wasnt expecting it).

Therefore I never thought about symptoms - and dont think I actually had any, and never stressed about testing (Until I got my reading back from Cheri22 at about 6dpo - who said she thought I was already pregnant - then I got stressed!).

I really think that staying as relaxed as possible goes a long way to ensuring implantation happens as your body is relaxed!

Sorry the witch got you and lots of luck for next month!

Hi Suzicat

I think that implantation is unsucessful when there is a defect in the fertilised egg and your body rejects the egg because it 'knows'

Apparently, 50% of fertlised eggs have defects and are lost this way. I'm not sure what/if you can do anything about it though x

Thanks guys. I have done something to try and help. I've booked a session with a reflexologist for Friday. She specialises in infertility and maternity as well. It's mainly to try and help me relax and not stress out about ttc too much. My work is quite stressful as well and I'm thinking that that is maybe not helping us at the mo.

I've told oh that we need to be having more sex this month! Not something he's going to complain about. My friends and sister yesterday was saying how sorry they were that AF arrived....my friend clair though just sent us a text saying 'must try harder! x'.....that cheered me up loads and reminded me that we should be enjoying ourselves as well.

So then....another 2ww....well 12 days for me. Fingers crossed for this time....it would fit with my cheri prediction if it happened this month so I'm feeeling positive.

Thanks everyone
