Housing benefit

If my housing benefit was released by the council yesterday when will that clear my account? Please please say it'll clear before Xmas as my rent is due 27th!! X

I just did they said it doesn't know lol but if I'm right in thinking my money is normally due on a Monday, but I can access it in the Saturday and I THINK they release it in a Thursday! Sooooo following that theory it may be in my bank tomorrow?? Would be well chuffed as I can pay my rent early get it out the way!!! X

I know im getting mine monday as the banks are open as normal so it may just go in the same as it does every other time so you should get it in time xx

It's not due till New Year's Eve though but I just rang to check just incase they were feeling nice and wanted to pay early which obviously they are feeling in a festive mood lol x

Oh i dont know then! If not you will just have to let your landlord know in advance there maybe a delay im sure as long as there told they will understand x

I don't know about HB but JSA/ESA ect was paid yesterday if normal pay day was mon/tues or wed. All other paydays are normal.
If it was issued early on Thursday it should clear Monday otherwise it'll be Thursday

Yes I called up this morning lol paid it over the phone think she nearly died of shock seeing as I've never paid it a minute early lol x

Hahahaha well its a nice surprise for her hunni, housing benefit will usually go in every 2 weeks hun, so keep an eye out for it in your account. Its a pain in the bum and you have be careful of holidays as they screw it up x x x
