Can you get into check you hotmail emails?

The page wont open for me

OK I'm going to ask

But why o why in this day and age does anyone use Hotmail still?

Yahoo is good, Gmail better. Anyone but Hotmail (MSN and MS evil that it is).

Always slow (as is their IM) and often locks you out when traffic too high.

Don't even get me started on the whole privacy debate :wall:

Seriously, go get a Gmail account, send out a mass email (BCC) to everyone on your address book telling them your new email addy and that in 2 weeks or whenever the hotmail one will become inactive. And then send the same one out again from your new email account to be sure ;)

Yes you will need to set up contact/address book but it will be worth the short stint of hassle over the continuing frustration at Hotmail. I gave up on any and all MS stuff years ago. I use MSN IM in Linux with a chat client so never actually have to do anything via MSN chat box.

I dont actually use my Hotmail very often... I just use it for my shopping confirmation emails and I just want to check that my Tesco delivery time has changed as I requested.

I use my Virgin account for everything else.

I have only occasionally had problems getting into my hotmail account and i prefer it to my yahoo accounts so much so i set another hotmail account up yesterday, although now it is classed as live rather than hotmail. The majority of websites have issues blocking people out when they are busy.

I havent had any issues today Sarah.

Because I like Hotmial. Ive used it for 7/8yrs. I have all the contacts I need on their. People know all mine and all my important emails go to a seperate address its far too much hassle to swap over as I really dont want to lose an important contact. Plus In know where I am with hotmail, settings etc :)

Mines fine too.
I love hotmail, never use MSN as yes it's always mucking up.
I've had my hotmail account (5GB) for over 10 years, feels like an old friend!
All my websites' email goes to my outlook.
I'm not keen on swapping to gmail.................Googles taking over enough. Its getting more like MS everyday!!
