Hotel 'Listening in service' would you?

A definite no for me too. Never since DD was born, and she's nearly 7 now, would I have any confidence in a service like this. How on earth could you ever relax?
Given the huge response you've had and your own personal gut feeling about this situation, it seems like an easy choice to make.
Have a good NYE, whatever you may do!

Definite no no for me as well! I can't believe your MIL would even suggest this, especially with LO being so young! I could never ever forgive myself if something was to happen..

I would not use a hotel listening service.

If I left r I would be too paranoid about him being pinched, thoughts of maddie McCann comes to mind
