Is anybody else really hot at night,and i don't mean in a sexy way.I'm going to bed totally boiling i even had to open my window and it was baltic outside.

I tend to be getting flushes - cold one minute and boiling the next (almost like flu).

I was in a shop the other day and without any warning suddenly thought I was going to faint - sight and hearing started to go and I pretty much shouted at my boyf 'I'm going to faint' while we was talking to an assistant. Shop assistant was really nice and rushed me outside into the fresh air and sat me down. My boyf had to explain to him that I was pregnant and 'kept having this weird moments'. I was utterly embarassed!

I haven't actually fainted as yet but that's 3 near misses (luckily others were at home). I don't know whether to wait until my next midwifes appointment (in feb) before reporting it or to call her - what does everything else think?

I've had this too a few times, and from what I've read it's just a normal part of being pregnant, due to your heart rate increasing I think.

Mention it to your midwife if you're worried about it though - after all, it's what they're there for

I keep having hot spells.
But i was wondering, the skin around my tummy and hips is always hot (to touch) even if i'm freezing... has anyone else had that?
Its a bizarre feeling lol.

I'm freezing! Jus can't seem to get warm at all last night I went to bed with 2 quilts!

I am normally very cold - it takes me ages to warm up and hubby usually complains about it when I get into bed. However now he complains I am absolutely radiating heat!!!
