anyone having issues taken a shower?

had a nice shower but had to cut it short as i came over dizzy , sick and wobbly , dont think i even rinsed my hair proper ! i felt proper poorly !

i didnt have it boiling hot , never do and i had window open

any ideas how i can not feel like this while taken a shower ?

cant take a bath as i still have an open wound from surgery :wall:

can you sit down in the shower- plastic stool maybe?

Yeah I kept getting this earlier on and had to get OH to supervise me at one point lol, a plastic stool on a non slip mat sounds a good idea. :)

or can u not wash your hair over the bath with the shower?
dont stay in too long, make it a quick shower

lol for a minute there G3M I thought you were talking about 'baby showers'.. hehe..

I don't have a prob with showering (yet), though due to the boiling weather I prefer them to be practically cold!!

The sitting down option sounds sensible. Perhaps leaving the door open, too, if that's feasible to increase the air flow in addition to the window.

Do you shower in the morning or the evening? It occurs to me that it might help to do it in the evening if you don't ordinarily, when your blood sugar levels might be a bit better.

yes i was like this with my first. i talked to midwife and found out that you have to take cool showers, i like my water to be hot so it was hard to switch.

its the same with a bath make sure its cool.
