Hot water bottles...

I dont know if this will sound daft but it is ok to sit with one on your belly? My oh said something about core temp and all that jazz and being in saunas blah blah blah. I know I cant go in saunas but hot water bottles... Really?! Xxx

I don't think you can have them on your belly tbh I think your oh is right x

I think ud have to have it more on the warm side instead of hot. Bit like having a bath, shouldnt be too hot. Babies cant regulate their temp so while u can cool down, baby cant and could overheat.
Maybe get a bottle that as a cover on it ?

I use one quite often as I find it comforting, but don't tend to put it directly on my belly anymore

Oh nooo It has been straight out the kettle hot - with a cover though. Looks like it'll need to stay down at my feet. Damn. Thank you very much ladies xxx
