Hospital bags...what's in yours??

My bag is all packed and I have everything I need for me and baby.

What snacks have you packed? I'm curious.

I've got...
-water
-um-bongo juice boxes
-wine gums
-cereal bars
-bananas to be added

Food wise I have chocolate covered cookies, sun dried bananas (love them!), a chocolate orange and a couple of bottles of lucozade. And a box of chocolates for the MWs.

If I have a chance I might throw in a ham sandwich or two as well.

I popped in one of those little bottles of super concentrated squash in my bag. It was such a good buy. make sure you have straws too.

Thankfully my hospital is over the road from morrisons so last time I just sent hubby out got provisions!

Really would recommend packing something or having people bring stuff in, last time all the hospital food was disgusting!

Lucozade. Water. Cereal bars. Jelly babies. Mints.

Might throw in extras from the cupboard just before we go. But my hospital has a wh smiths and boots etc so I can send hubby for things if it's during the daytime.

I've got Lucozade, water, milky ways and fudges. And my Mum's going to make some sandwiches when I actually go into labour. We're also taking a flask of coffee xx

Tracker bars, some wotsits, Apple juice. Will put some bananas in later. Lots of chocolate for oh. I'm lucky apparently the food in my hospital is supposed to be good

I thought I had loads of sweets....I've been quite tame compared to some ladies!! Lol. Hubby is a very savoury person and will no doubt visit the shop for crisps & strong coffee!

Defo forgot straws!!

Same as Rooster haha gonna do it monday next week, not looking forward to it though I find it so hard to plan ahead when I don't know what I'm gonna want or need at the time xo

I swore by lucazade during my last labour, although the Epi made me sick, so it was coming out a wonderful colour!

I don't remember eating any of the snacks, so I would guess OH demolished them

I didnt pack any snacks with my first three. I didnt think I would need anything during labour but the midwife kept me topped up with water throughout.
Second born I was induced and was sick throughout the labour because of the gas and air so couldn't face having anything other than water.
I was induced again with my third due to pre-eclampsia the consultant and doctors all said I couldn't have anything to drink properly part from little sips of water but was on a drip to keep me hydrated all just incase I had to have an emergency csection.
This time I will get two big bottles of lucozade to take and something else I dont know yet but there is a spar inside the hospital so oh will more than likely go down and pick some stuff up from there if it comes to it xx
