It's exciting isn't it! I need to really get a list but I will do a little clothes shop and toiletries shop tomorrow. I'm hoping she's not late like her brother even though they are looking to induce me. X

Oh dear... I should probably do mine... Baby is due in less than 3 weeks.

Started mine today and I'm due in just over 5 weeks... No harm in being prepared so can relax a bit! U thinking of doing one for you and one for baby or all together?

Definitely worth having it packed early! I'm currently in hospital just now unexpectedly at 37 weeks and it's been one less thing to worry about just telling OH to grab my bag knowing it has all my pj's etc in it. Don't need the baby stuff just yet thank god!

Yep, I've 5 weeks to go and almost finished...turned into 2 bags (so far ;-)

I've started thinking about it though I need to find a list as to what to put in it. I have a trolley case that's a bit bigger than hand luggage and have one side mine and one side baby's.

I have bought my nightie and dressing gown etc but have been wearing them so don't want to put them in - same with my hairbrush etc, I'll have to do a list of things I need to put in at the last min like that x

I'm 30weeks tomorrow and have done the shopping for my bag, still need a few bits and haven't yet packed it; il end up re packing if I do it too early! But if anything happened my hubby knows where everything is! X

That's the best thing, make sure everything is in an easy to go to place so you can tell your birthing partner where it is to grab quickly. My OH is not good at grabbing things I want if left to his own devices!

I'm going this morning after I've dropped henry to nursery and making a list now on my phone. Had a dreadful night of back ache. Xx

And babies bag is packed but need to add a cardigan and some other bits x

I second this, I was taken into hospital last week very unexpectedly and was so glad my bags were packed. I had also written a list of things to grab such as my hairbrush and makeup which were still being used so not packed x

I have had feelings about maybe not leaving things so late as I expect her to arrive no where near soon but so far all sonographers have suggested that she's ahead of dates so be prepared which I will take on board. At 36 weeks my final scan will indicate when I'm likely to have this baby. X

I'm planning to pack mine around 33-34 weeks, as I'll be using one of the bags for a weekend trip before then. I've done a bit of the shopping for it but still need to get a few bits. xx

Starting mine this week - mainly to have something to do now that I am on Mat leave. I have a sneaky feeling this LO wont be out for aaaaages yet though.

x

Ok so I've now found a birthing shirt from primark. I was going to go for one that was on the next website which was £30 but then I thought it's "unlikely" I'll ever where a "shirt at night normally. It's lovely and stylish and good for whipping the boob out. So I also bought a couple of other bits like granny pants and toiletries and the only thing to put in, is things like going home outfit which will likely be a maxi dress which I have. What's everyone else putting in their bag as I'm unsure if I've missed any essentials xx

I am putting in, rescue remedy (me and hubby!!) arnica pills, lip balm, cashmere socks that mum got me for Xmas (I hear your feet can get cold!) usual wash bag stuff, a small thing of perfume (smells that I know reassure me) straws, travel change matt...loads of woman say it's easier and avoids getting poo on your sheets! Towels, moisturiser, hair ties and clips, flannel, think that's it! Interested to hear other peoples bits! X
