title says it all really...

I'm having faint twinges down there, is that normal?
Just a bit concerned as AF wouldn't be due til Wednesday or Thursday..
is it ok to twinge? it's not particularly painful, just noticeble.
Does everyone get this?
Thanks
xx

Twinges, sharp stretching pains, all sorts are normal

Try not to panic and think the worst every time you experience this sort of thing.

Thanks again !!
Going to try and go to bed now! It's been quite a day!

Firstly congrats on your BFP :cheer:   Look forward to seeing you at Scotland meet.

Twinges are normal and I know it is so hard not to worry but do keep telling yourself its normal and we all go through it.

I had a bleed early on, I had terrible stomach cramps to the point I was curled in a ball crying. My point is all these crazy things are going on with our bodies moving about and making space for babies we are bound to feel something.

It's always a worrying time but your gonna be just fine

Twinges are normal, I definitely remember them.

And I'm sure you will worry! It's natural! When we got pregnant this time, DH was telling his boss and mentioned how worried we were after losing one. He said you never stop worrying. He said at first, will it make 12 weeks, then will it be ok at birth, then you worry about schools, what it's going to do, making friends, and he said don't even think about how you feel when some teenage boys come sniffing around... then he got a bit rude, and I don't need to go there. We were like... 'okay'...

Hi Kmac

How are you feeling today?

The only symptoms I have had are twinges/cramps and sore BBs so guessing that this is normal!

As for the worrying...join the club! :D

I keep having loads of twinges too, and have felt like AF is on her way since the BFP. Worrying is completely normal, I seem to remember last time I felt loads better after the scan, then again when I started feeling bubs move.

Congratulations again!

Nice to see you over this side, although not been here long myself! Last week I got a lot of cramps and stretching feelings, and now this week I have nothing and am worried about that!

Thanks girls!
I haven't had so many twinges today - that might be because I was at work and didn't have time to think about it too much.
I can feel things now, also finding it harder to 'go for a number 2' than normal!
I guess it is natural to worry. i kept waking up through the night and thinking OMG!!!
I'm going to hand in a urine sample to the docs tomorrow.
I did another cheapie test when I got home today just to check the line was there - and it is stronger than yesterday (which was quite strong!) so feeling a bit reassured.
AF wouldn't be due til tomorrow or thursday so I guess i can assume she's not coming!!

Ur as bad as me

let us know how u get on the eh hun but if u ask me your well and truely baking a baby !!! The twinges will just be everything stretchin to accomodate them i suppose :)

hun try not to worry i had this on all my pregnancies till about 8 weeks or so, it is worrying i know    every time im pg i have to keep running to the loo as im convinced af is about to start xxxxxxx

Aww bless you  It's normal to fret over things, especially in first tri but you'll be fine!

Faint twinges as you describe could be a fake "AF is approaching" signal! Lots of women feel them around the time their period would be due so don't worry

Congrats by the way :D xx

 Rach, just noticed your ticker. The girls have kindly calculated that I should be 4w 4 days ( same as you). Do you know when you ovulated? I was hoping on the same day as me so I could count with you ( as you know I haven't had period since Nov 07 so don't really know when to count from apart from the ovulation date)
