Hello there, what are your thoughts on the name 'seth'?

Just wondering as i love it but my hubby doesnt. What do you think?

I'm not overly fond of it, but its not bad.

It is quite a short sharp sounding name, which isn't for everyone.

I always think of it as being a name of an old person, but obviously all these sort of names are coming back in fashion-George, Martha, Evelyn etc.
A friend of a friend had a little boy called Seth and after hearing it a few times it sounded fine-it just takes a bit of getting used to

I also like archie and alfie and joe but they are quite common now.

I think of the Seth that was in Emmerdale - whispy mostache (sp) - sorry.
