holiday Period :-S can anyone help???

hey everyone!
me and my OH are off on holiday to Dominican Republic next week. we have been trying to convieve all month and fingers crossed for us!!! but i am worried becuase if i am not Pregnant, then i am due my AF a few days in to our romantic break!!!! (romance killer or what) and my AF is usually, tummy pains, headache, feeling sick, spotty face etc etc etc!!!!!!

i was wondering, does anyone know of something i can get on prescription to take if my period does come... something i can take on the 1st day and it will stop it!!!!!!!

i know there are things to take a few days before your period, but i dont want to be taking any meds if i am pregnant......... does that make sence......

can anyone help.i am going to the doctors next week, but they can be usuless lol

i took something but u have to take it 3 days before , so i took preggy tests with me on holiday and as it was neg , i took the pills and enjoyed a period free holiday ! you just ahve to either trust the preggy tests so u can take the stuff before your af is due , or im afraid live with her visiting while your away !

i was given mefanamic acid to help slow things down and ease the pain...it actually stopped my period after a day....not sure if it will do that for everyone though

hello! Thank you for your replys they were really helpful! i went to see the doctor today and they gave me "norethisterone" ..... i am just going to take it the day i actually start my AF......if it comes.... "oh please AF stay away, stay away!!!!!" and hopefully it will work it stopping it within 2-3 days....... Thankx everyone! x x x x x
