High Temp advise pls

Joseph had his 1year injections last monday and he has gone to bed today with a temperature of 39.5 in one ear and 40.6 in the other. ive given him calpol and he's asleep now.

He has been fine all day, he was hot at lunch time but I gave him nurofen for babies and he was fine.

He didnt want his tea and fell asleep on DH at 6 so we decided to put him straight to bed.

I havent put a vest on him and havent put him in his dream pod cause want the temp to come down.

They said this may happen and he may get a rash which he hasnt got but they said not to worry unless he's unwell with it, but i'm still worried.

Anyone had this or any advice??

his temp has been up and down but at least its coming down with baby nurofen, been advised its a normal reaction to the MMR and not to worry but easier said than done x

When J had his MMR at 14 months he was fine for a few days then came down with a temperature, we gave him nurofen which brought it down, i was told it was normal xx
