Sadly I dont have the money for such luxurys. Its been 6months maybe longer since I had my hair cut. All my make up has either been spilt, chewed or ruined by my little princess. I dont have the heart to do my hair so I look like a tramp every day. Clothes are a no go area, I am living off hand me downs that my MIL dont want any more.

God no wonder I feel like rubbish, Im not doing anything to make myself feel better.

Hi there.. I'm the same do my tan every week and have make up on and ready for when I go out... but I haven't made any changes!! lol I suppose I should really but I have OH on hand so I'm sure i will still be able to do the same things ( i hope) :D

Once the baby comes you will found a rountine... I have a little girl of 6 and I have a fantastic rountine in the morning I'm lucky though she is no bother bless her... mind you doing my tan latley is a pain cant bend down and do me legs!! lol :rotfl:

Your welcome lovie :D ... My OH doesn't understand why I still tan...lol I'm addicted, and he just laughs at me when I have the st tropez on coz of the colour looks like I have round around in mud... lol

Same here I feel like caspers relative when I haven't got it on... :rotfl:

nothing much has changed for me really, just all my stuff has moved haha.. to make space for babies stuff really.

everything iused to do i still do.

 You guys are making me feel terrible!! I still have my hair cut every 5-6 weeks, and facial once a month, but to be totally honest I am afraid to look at what's below the bump line!! I haven't been able to see my toes (or anything else for that matter!!!) for weeks now - hate to think what it looks like :rotfl:

Right, mission for next week for me is to ensure no-one will get a fright if they catch sight of my lower half!!

Hubby has been very good and not mentioned anything at all ... :rotfl:

Had my hair cut about a month ago, not really worried about facials, manicures and such, no need for them for the first month or so.

Just a normal, wash, cleanse and toner for me

Hi girls,

I was reading what you were all saying about your tans and make up. Well, I love fake tan too and always have my toenails painted etc. but I've been worried about doing an all over tan lately. It's just that when I went into hospital a year or two ago for a small op. they said I shouldn't have the tan on or the nail polish and gave me acetone to try and get the stuff off. They said they had to be able (or the anaesthetist, I imagine, had) to detect changes in my skin tone. I was just wondering how they - the medical staff - would manage if I had to go into hospital in an emergency...this has put me off doing my tan in the later stages of pregnancy.

I'm booked for a home birth and I'm not due for a while yet (though I do consider myself to be "full term" at 37 weeks, so only have over 3 weeks to go - yikes!!!), but I just worry that having tan on might put me at unnecessary risk if something happened and I needed e.g. an emergency section.

Gemma - you had to go into hospital recently - did they say anything about your tan/make-up then? Am I being silly?

to be honest i only 'dress up' when i go out or when i go shopping or to church etc. at home i take it easy, i don't really make an effort and it doesn't bother my DH at all!
