So I posted this on another forum but didnt get many responses. I had a blood draw on wed 4w5d and my hcg came back as 2488. My levels have never been that high with any of my other children. Just curious if you ladies have had the same and the out comes from it.

It’s not common to get given a number in the UK so you probably won’t get many responses. Mine was 500 at 4+0 so would probably have been 1000 at 4+2, 2000 at 4+4, 4000 at 4+6... so similar to yours. I’m 38+4 now and not having twins if that’s what you’re getting at. Your levels just depend on how early baby implants, if they implant early you’ll have higher HCG than if they implant late. Doesn’t really mean anything but it’s a good sign your pregnant will progress well :)

Not to concerned with twins more with somthing just being wrong like a molar pregnancy.

I wouldn’t worry about that either. Your levels are a little high but not crazy high. I think it’s a good sign!

Def not high at all.. still within the normal range. Mine were 6640 at 5 weeks so your numbers look fine.

I got 3+ on a clearblue digital weeks indicator at around the same time, which puts hcg at more then 2500 I think, so yours sounds pretty normal really, I wouldn’t worry at all x

Thank you so much ladies I was starting to freak out. I get my second results today but am waiting until the 21st for an ultrasound.

I freaked out about the same thing. My numbers were high but normal like yours and so far so good. An early scan helped me so much. I still freaked out before the 12 week scan too but I would have gone insane waiting for it if I hadn't had the early. It isn't logical but once the thought is in your head it's so hard to shift, isn't it. Especially at 3am, I'm terrible for a 3am googling session that just adds to my stress. I've found listening to the radio really quietly helps me when I'm stressed. The background noise helps me tune out my thoughts, I'll even listen to podcasts at night!
