I wouldn't worry hun! I remember she used to get them all the time when I was pregnant and it continued after she was born. Doesn't happen nearly as much now she's older

Yeah Oscar is exactly the same and i was worried so asked the midwife she said its a good sign it means he's full plus if he had hiccups a lot when inside you it'll continue when he's a baby so from what i can tell its normal and nothing to worry about i know what you mean though cos it seems to annoy him when he's in his moses basket the most and he doesn't cry just wriggles about.

James used to hiccup ALL the time when he was a newb. It went on for months and he finally stopped getting them so bad when he was about 5months old. He still gets them occasionally and it always makes me giggle thinking back to how bad they were. It never bothered him unless he was trying to sleep :) he was a hiccupy baby before he was born too

Angel had hiccups 5 times every day from me being 16 weeks pregnant til she was 3 months old. She used to get so mad with them but it soon calmed down.

Austin used to get hiccups at 8 o'clock EVERY night without fail from about 32 weeks pregnant until he was a good 3 months old. Really weird! Fraser's had them about once.

Nothing to worry about :D

we are the same, but its with 30 mins of waking in the morning. he was the same when in my belly.

lewis get agitated by his - i tend to pop him on my boob for a little bit and they go after he has had a bit of a drink (if he will have one, which he always seems to  ).

yep another one here! Matilda had them all the time inside me and its continued, It doesnt seem to bother her though

Ben is the exact same. He had hiccups loads when I was pregnant & now he seems to get them after feeds. They make him a bit sick at first but he doesn't seems to bother. He also gets hiccups when he's in the bath which is strange.

I think its really common.

Euan is the exact same! The hiccups sound so violent! He doesn't seem bothered, just annoys him as it's always when he's trying to sleep!

I just cuddle him until they are gone

thanks for your replies everyone!
they have made me feel better and reassured me!

Lola-Mae had them before birth and still does now! Best thing for her is either sucking her dummy or feeding! Stops them quite fast!

Adam seems to get them after hes been fed
its not straight away, usually about 15 minutes afterwards and its usually just on a night not during the day

Euan is the same! Always on the last feed of the night when we're trying to get him settled and ourselves into bed!!!
