I haven’t really posted about this pg unlike when I had dd but I have been reading everyone’s journeys so feel like I know you all. I am due 01/04 so currently 34 weeks.

18 months ago we were ttc #2 when our neighbour tried to kill himself and burnt both our houses down. We had to live in a hotel for a while and finally got a rental while ours was rebuilt so our ttc went on hold. I’m 37 and oh 38 and we decided to start trying again as the house was due to be finished by end of Nov. Lots of issues hit and ff to now and house should be finished next week 😄.

I have started to feel really crap tho and wSnt like this with dd. I was tested for Cholestis last week and midwife they would call if there was anything wrong with the results, not heard anything so presume no news is good news.

But my pee is orange and I have permanent pressure and have permanent acid ingestion/heartburn. Is this normal? I am working full time, trying to project manage the build whilst doing the paperwork (so much red tape when your insurance rebuilds yr house) and trying to pack the house up so I’m not sat feeling sorry for myself. Oh says I should call and talk to someone, I think it’s just a pregnancy thing I need to get on with it. Dd arrived at 36 with no issues.

Sorry for the long post but husband is doing my head in and I keep saying I have to suck it up, everyone has things like this to deal with, thank you 😄😄

Hiya love come and post in the April mummies thread x

your pee being orange doesnt sound normal you should get it checked out

its a lot to deal with while you're pregnant, my first pregnancy was also full of legal stuff, settling up a business and home moving stuff right up to the birth . i was rearranging collecting lorries of equipment for the business when i realised i was in labour and was supposed to be out transporting it. it's only in hindsight i realised thats really quite abnormal to be dealing with so much but sometimes its just unavoidable.

Hey lovely! Definitely come join our April mummies thread!

It sounds like you’ve had a rough time so no wonder you’re feeling a bit rubbish! My pregnancy has been really tough this time too. I have actually had a diagnosis for cholestasis. I had mild itching on my palms and my pee is orange too. Both are signs of cholestasis but that doesn’t mean you have it. As for the heartburn, contact your GP and ask about being put on Omeprazole. It’s totally safe during pregnancy and I wouldn’t be without mine.

There is absolutely no reason you should suffer if there is something that could help ease how you’re feeling - especially with everything you seem to have going on as well as already having another child to look after!

As me and Loula have said, come and join our April mummies group. We all seem to be having a fairly rough time of it - it must be something about April babies x
