Hiya! I have a ttc journal but I thought I should join this section too I'm 26 years old, married and we're trying for our first baby. I was diagnosed with pcos in May. We have been trying for ten months so far. I have the sort of pcos where I barely have any periods at all, and can go 6 months between them. I also have enlarged ovaries with cysts. I had my first proper period since January last month (caught me by surprise, as ironically that was the same week I was due to take provera to start a new cycle!)

However after speaking to my fertility nurse she said I can start taking provera this cycle. So I started taking them yesterday, then after 7 days I should get a bleed, and then I can start clomid! On day 12 they will do a scan Exciting. Fingers crossed it works first month. xx

Good luck sweet. PCOS is a right pain in the arse, think I was diagnosed in June or July (after years of saying something is not right lol). I have found the website PCOS Diet Support to be quite helpful (just trying to get my head around how I can possibly do all that stuff right now). Katie xx

Thank you phonix fingers crossed for you with everything! It's good to know there are supportive places to look at diet wise my husband and I have been following slimming world which I found really helped as I lost over a stone from it and so far am maintaining it ( now a size 10-12). I feel a lot better for it (being a vegetarian it's just as well I love veg ). So feel a lot better in that sense. I took my last provera tablet on Wednesday and I'm already on day 1 of a new cycle so that worked quickly ( proper bleed as well) 1 day! I've read of it taking 3-7 days before a bleed so that's great, it means I can start Clomid tomorrow, eek! Xx

It was good, I've got a good sized follicle on each overy, so I've had a hcg shot today to ensure they are released. Thank you, good luck to you too xx
