hi, urgent question

i was just sitting at the computer when i got major weird pain / sensations down below, like pretty severe. im at my mums and i was crying but it only lasted about 2 minutes on and off?!?!

its gone now but what is the name of that cord p thing??? that can happen when your baby is transverse like mine??

i can feel her moving still i think and i can still feel her lying transverse like always so she didnt move round. i didnt have any tummy pains or anything?

whats the cord thing called , thinking i could google it as i know im at risk of this and it can be fatal to baby!!!!

I'm really sorry that I have no idea, but if you know you're at risk of this thing, phone the hospital and say it to them to be on the safe side!
At the end of the day, while us supporting eachother is great, the professionals will know facts. Good luck and let us know how you get on x

Are you sure baby is still transverse (sorry if I have missed a thread)
Sounds like a BH type thing to me, mine start of in my pelvic/cervix area and work its way up, MW said that it is just everything getting into position....

I have no advice to give about this sorry Hope, i would ring your midwife and see what she has to say.
They will know what it is when you describe it to them, especially if its dangerous don't let it drag out.
i hope all is ok

ive had 2 scans in last few weeks and both times her head has been on my right side and transverese and i can still (and always) feel her head there so im pretty sure shes still there.

they have gone now. soo weird. i just feel like such a time waster everytime i call they say go in and i always get sent home!

plus my OHs grandad just died and he needs me to go to the open coffin with him after work

and my final scan before c sec booking is only tomorrow morning?

Give your mw a ring hun or the hosp, I know my mws were only available tik 4! Googling is the worst thing you can do cos it just worries you! You never kbow it could just have been baby getting head down!

You not wasting their time, thats why you have their numbers!
If your worried i would phone even if it is nothing at least your mind is at ease until your appointment tomorrow.

I phone my midwife for what feels like the silliest thing but afterwards when she tells me all is ok and "normal" i feel so much better and calmer about what is happening! xxxx

what if they say go in like they always do though. and its never anything really.

i will cal them just dont want to go in and feel like a moaner again!

she is def not head down i can feel her head on my right side where its always been xx

argh i dont want to i cant let him down he is soo upset and it feels like im constantly going in over nothing

i said to them is it really serious, is it important that i do come in, and they said its up to me but the doctor recommends it

pure dilemma as i havent had any since those ones?!?!
