I'm Anita and am 31. Me and DH have been trying to conceive for years, but I have been having treatment for endometriosis, which destroyed my quality of life and put the scuppers on things for a while. Turns out DH had poor semen quality on all counts as well, so we've just had our 1st IVF with ICSI and to our complete disbelief, we're pregnant!
Had my first scan (6 week) yesterday and saw a lovely little blob with a flutter. It was fabulous, as until now, I've found it hard to believe that I'm actually pregnant. I know we have a long way to go yet, but am hoping I get to become a mum at last, next year!
It's lovely to meet you all and hopefully, I can meet those who are in the same situation and are as nervous as me, as well as those of you who have fabulous advice, when it's much-needed.
