Hi i went into a&e last night and just been diagnosed HG.
Has anyone had this? If so how long before back to normal and stuff?
My bloods/urine apparently show starvation and dehydration.

Hi Sophie, I posted about my struggles with HG further down this section. This is my second pregnancy with it, it is very hard but you’ll get through it. With my first it eased off by 17 weeks. I still vomited throughout the rest of the pregnancy but it wasn’t as debilitating as it was at the start. This time I’m still vomiting every day at almost 22 weeks. I think having two other children, one a toddler, it’s really hindering things for me. I don’t get anywhere near the rest I should. Have they started you on anti sickness tablets? Take whatever you can and rest when you can. It really takes it out of you! Hope you’re okay xx

Get some decent anti sickness meds. For HG ask for omeprazole. They will suggest cyclizine but I doubt it will touch it, next it metaclopramide which may help a bit depending on how bad it is. Get the best stuff, they hold it back because of cost. Just also make sure you use something like laxido along with it if you can as it can be constipating x
