Has anyone experienced a baby that was latching in well, feeding good solid feeds he's now just become lazy he stopping n starting half asleep but crys when u stop
He pulls himself off then tries to get on straight away

I don't get it and its frustrating me now I actually feel there's no milk in them anymore

How old is your lo? Mine did this for 2 reasons either a growth spurt or teething, could be either of those?

Does this happen mostly in the late afternoon/evening?

He could be "fussing". Oliver does this most nights when its running up to bed time. He also headbutts my boob and throws his legs and arms about.

Is it possible that you have a fast let down and baby is getting frustrated as too much milk is being released too quickly? It could also be that baby just wants to suckle for comfort rather than feed and is getting frustrated that milk is being produced xx

He's 12 days old today so possibly a growth spurt I read they have a growth spurt around day 10?

Also one of my boobs has got a fast let down yes he barely has to work at all to get milk it pours out what can I do with that?

I would express a little before getting him to latch hun. This should take away alot of the pressure and make the let down less intense for him x

My LO is doing this as well, she's now 8 weeks but has been doing it for a while.

Have you had LO checked for lip and tongue tie by a proper professional? My LO has a lip tie and seemed to get enough early on but obviously struggling to get bigger feeds.

Also you can try and feed lying down too, I had an ovrractive let down, she would pull away then it would spray everywhere, then ahe would go back on. Xx
