Grace is 4 weeks today and was 8'11 when born and just over 10lbs now. She's a greedy hungry baby and loves her milk! We had a little problem with over feeding which made her sick at night- projectile! Hv said cut out her last feed which has worked, so from 6 feeds to 5 a day. She has 120ml of formula. And little breast milk twice a day, not much as she's not latching anymore. She sleeps through night and has gone 5 hours since birth really.
On a normal day her pattern is.. 4 n half hours, so 7am, 11:30, 4:00, 8:30, 1:00... She sleeps through night till oh alarm goes off at 7am. We was waking her in night but she doesn't take milk.. Good she sleeps this long tho, but we do bring her evening feeds slightly sooner so I can go bed a bit sooner. When do you cut out her late night feed n get in more of a routine? Do you even cut out a feed? Or give her more milk just less amount of feeds? I really dunno what we do next.. If anything?
Any advice?
Thanks x

I'd wait a while. The first 6 weeks I'd say pander to babies needs, at 14 weeks we've only just started a 'routine' and even then I'm using the term loosely. Babies generally settle naturally into their own without too much forcing in my experience.

hannah just kind of dropped a feed herself. we aim to feed every 4 hours during the day....so roughly speaking its about 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm and 2am ish....so 5 feeds a day.

she used to have a feed around 10pm...but she dropped this herself and just started sleeping straight through from the feed after her bath at 6pm until her first wake up around 2am...

i am guessing this is the feed she will eventually drop herself when she is ready too....
