I worked with Melanie for years - all through the original Herceptin campaign. She was inspirational both to work with and as a survivor of breast cancer. She left a legacy with those of us who worked with her for fund raising for breast cancer and positivity even at the darkest times.
Mel took v little time off work, she was dedicated to children's library services even when ill.
Sadly she leaves behind a husband and young children.
