We've both started having hemp powder in smoothies, and I can't believe the effect it's had on my OH. He's given up sugar and processed food. I'm over the moon. I've also done the same. We both need to lose weight so I'm hoping it will help. It's good fertility food and suppresses sugar cravings. Plus I'm sleeping solidly for the first time in years. I'd really recommend it.

Thanks sunflower. I also bought hemp powder today and tried a little bit in my cereal. How much of it do you need to use? I only tried like a teaspoon

I use a teaspoon. Have tried two but it can cause constipation. My OH has 2 desertspoons. See how much yu can tolerate...2 teaspoons is good if you can handle it.

Thanks for the tip! Think I'll try it too because I really need to kick this sugar craving to the curb

Thanks sunflower, I’ve been looking into maca powder too

I never heard of it, what is it? My husband need to loose weight (sounds awful but it is true  ) so do you think he should try it?

It's the ground up seeds of the hemp plant so in powder form. You make smoothies from it, with milk or nut milk, berries, or yoghurt. Yes he should try it. My OH was a sugar addict and now he eats half of what he did. Full of amino acids so great for fertiity and balancing hormones.
