i am pregnant with my first due in feb i am 10 weeks i am worried about the pains in my stomach they are just sore not uncomfortable also have bad lower back pain i am worried as i was reading stuff on the internet and some one with similar symptoms has miscaried

and there are loads of ladies on here with those symptoms that havent. stretching of the uterus and ligaments leads to some really weird pains and uncomfortable feelings but are all totally normal

lol do not google symptoms, they all lead to miscarriage if you read enough sites

thanks just get so scared i am getting the pains nearly every day but maybe because i am lifting the hoover and stuff

nah i had cramps n stuff at like 5 / 6 weeks and apparently ya get more later on too. chill and take it all as normal hun

I spent a lot of my first trimester with stomach cramps, and in pain of various types so consequently, spent a lot of time worrying! And i've made it to nearly 37 weeks with not a hint of trouble in regards to miscarriage. They're often just aches and pains from bits and bobs stretching. Google isn't great for identifying stuff, i tend to use BabyCenter if i'm worried, they have a few pages on aches and pains, but they're really clear about what's normal and what you should talk to your midwife/gp about

i put my symptoms on the nhs website and they are going to give me a call

as long as it puts your mind at rest but seriously we all get teh pains and cramps and all sorts of pain, i googled and i think so far iv decided miscarriage happening soon, mmc, ectopic preg, etc etc when fingers crossed it will all be fine i think that general symptoms fit everything in pregnancy. so try not to worry x

I'm sure it's normal hun, try not to worry.

It's funny because I'm desperate for some cramps etc just so I know my body is doing something!!

the nhs think its nothing to worry about unless i bleed.thanks all

try an relax hun most likely they are just streatching pains and google is a pregant womans worst enemy!!!!!! everything is bad news according to that so try not to google things hun just take it easy and no lifting heavy stuff xxx

its your insides stretching to make room for you lovely little baby to grow :)

You were right to call nhs though... i always call midwife if i have worries, its their job to put our mind at rest at the end of the day!
