Help. Where has my cm gone?!

I am wondering if anyone can shed any light.

I'm on cd 15. Second cycle of ttc. Last cycle got a peak on my cbfm at cd 17. Had lots of stretchy cm particularlarly cd16 in the evening.

Anyway, past day or so and today I've had loads of cm. but in last say 6 hours or so when I've wiped it's been dry of cm. sorry tmi. I've defo not ovulated.

So I had this on my mind and me and oh we're due to bd tonight as tring the smep this month. But because it was on my mind, I wasn't as 'wet' as normal and he picked it up. I didn't want to go into all of the above details. But cue disaster, because then what was on my mind, was on his mind and I finally managed to 'get in the mood' then he went er soft.

So we gave up and cuddled and he wanted to start again, but by this point all was truly gone down there. And now I just want to cry. I've got it into my head that because we have missed tonight then I'm out already for this month. Plus worrying about why my Ewcm has disappeared!

Sorry for long tmipost, but has this happened to anyone before? I'm now thinking I'm not going to ovulate or something...

calm down, lol.......I'm sure all will be fine.

Yesterday I my cm was kinda not there and I was thinking - what's going on cos I am due to O any day - I have had wet cm over last few days but hardly any eycm......today I got my + opk and wet cm again - if I go searching I can find some stretchy stuff tho - very tmi I know. lol.

I'm sure if you DTD again tonight it will be ok - make sure you drink plenty during O as that can have an effect on CM.

If you don't usually get lots of fertile CM - then for future cycles (hopefully there won't be any and you will have your bfp this time) but if not try some Evening primrose oil from CD1 up to O as this helps with CM

Hi,

Try not to worry which I know is difficult but I find that some days around OV I don't have much cm at all and some days I have lots. Try and take some EPO from CD1 to OV and this should do the trick.

Hey hun dont worry about it!

I never seem to have ewcm..unless i go digging for it! And even then its bare minimum! TMI sorry. Honestly i read some where that just because you cant see or feel it when wiping it doesnt mean its not there.

If your worried tho hun you can always take evening primrose oil as the ladies above mentioned. Start of with 1000mg and see how you get on.

As the other ladies say, cm can come an go, so no doubt it will show its face again before you ov.

And your still as much in the game as you were before. You haven't had your peak yet so dont worry about the lack of sex last night. As long as you have sex on both peak days and the day after your good to go.

When the monitor detects the first peak you have between 24-36hrs to go before the egg is released, so as long as you have sex in/ around that time frame your good to go!! x x x

Hello Ladies

Thank you for all your replies! I think I was worrying as I usually have a lot of cm.

Well I woke up this morning and got my peak! Cd16. Last month was cd17. I feel quite gutted as I deliberately tried to time it so I was having bd the night before my lightly peak, hence my disappointment last night.

Last cycle we bd at night on my first peak and didn't manage the second. Although I have it in my head that I missed it as I am sure I ovulated the next morning.

Anyway I'm itching to bd today but my little one is ill. DH took day off work to be with her as I was off all last week and I've just nipped home for lunch and was hoping little one might be having a nap and maybe we could, but not to be. I feel bad writing that I wanted the wee soul to be asleep.

Anyway tonight and hopefully tomorrow. I hopeful we might be able to bd tomorrow morning too but lo comes into our bed through the night so morning bd is a no no lol.

Ah, I know I'm getting myself worked up. I've already got myself Dow as out! Ahhhh damn hormones. Lol

this should reassure you a bit....when I conceived my Daughter we hadn't BD for days, then I got my + opk early so we BD the afternoon of that day, but then didn't DTD again after that - so that once was all it took

You could always get some conceive plus or pre-seed too if your worried, but I'm sure its fine - like the other ladies have said if you went digging for it I'm sure it would be there!!
Although I quite like having some sperm friendly lube handy, as can be used externally as well as internally and it feels quite nice

I was having a wee chuckle to myself thre thinking the detail us girlies go in to with each other. It's so great to have the support. My close friends know we are ttc but I don't even go into the detail with them that I do with ou guys!

Kkheartsbaby - EWCM is the most fertile cm we get, the general rule is that if it's there, you're ready to make a baby. So bed down and have fun!

To Babyhnumbertwo and anyone else ttc. Please don't over think it all. I know it's hard, especially if you're observing fertile days and have been trying for a long time. But really, the pressure to perform you put on yourselves sometimes wipes the magic out of it. We did the same thing a few years back, we both got really bored of 'having' to do it. Just relax (I'd say to throw the tests away if you can but I know nobody will lol!) and get back to nature!

Another good thing about listening to your body is you might pick up on the weird little things... For example, my Husband gets so horny, when I'm ovulating, it's almost like he can smell it in a weird animal way.. And No he doesn't know about my investigations sometimes, just comes home and makes a be line for me lol.
