Im havign such difficulty finding a travel system i like, i found one, which seems perfect but it's been discontinued :evil: and i cant find it in any stores, or even on ebay, or searching the internet!!
This is the one i wanted
http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/B ... tto/737232
does anyone know of any other travel systems that are similar to this one, it has to have the pram feature, and car seat and my budget is around £300, though i prob would go a bit higher if necessary.
Who knew buggies were so difficult!!!!

I am having the same problems. My parents are getting the pram for us and they've set a budget of £300 as well. Although they are willing to go over it but not by much! The prams on http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk are good but expensive.

I'm fed up with travel systems already.

We chose the one we want a couple of weeks ago but can't fit the car seat into either of our cars or my parents car :x . Decided to order it anyway and use it on the front seat if popping to the shops and get the ONLY car seat we can find that fits our cars seperate and use it for longer journeys.

Went to order the travel system yesterday and it's out of stock for 8 weeks!!!!!!! :doh:

So glad i'm not alone! I've found another one i like now but its gonna end up bieng £450 for the whole thing with raincovers, and that doesnt even include foot muff andchanging bag, they're silly expensive!!
Guess i'm gonna have to talk to babydaddies parents, thet said they wanted to help pay for it but i know they're had loads of unexpected expenses recently :? I think i'll get baby daddy to talk to them about it, i dont wanna seem like im askign for money, jsut wanna no if they still wanna help.

I got one that I love, it's Mama's and Papa's Aria travel system, it cost me £179.99 from Argos and comes with the following;

- Car seat (which on the buggy turns into a pram)
- Changing bag
- Rain cover
- Changing mat
- Foot muff

:D x

I'm not going to be much help here, but we bought a travel system before Isaac was born and we NEVER used it, we only used the car seat, and then bought a Quinny Zapp :lol: We found the travel system an excellent idea but in practice it was a pain in bottom and too big. I'm sure they must have made them a bit more user friendly and smaller nowadays but I'm definitely going for a buggy and seperate car seat this time instead, not really looked much yet as baby's a while away hehe, but something like this size-wise (not price wise mind);

Bugaboo Cameleon Base Unit and Carrycot (for 3 in 1 Travel System)

I have to say I like the new Mothercare My3 travel system.

Had a good play with it in store and it wheels like a dream!

This is the one i've got and I LOVE IT! It's easy to fold, moves really easily and smoothly and it's just so perdy! I also bought the travel cot thing attachment so it can be a pram too.

I've got the exact same one and also LOVE it. It's quite heavy for lifting in and out of the car but because of its weight you can steer it easily one handed (the smaller ones with the ickle wheels you struggle to do that)

We love that pram sooooo much we're probably going to get a buggypod to attach to it for eefie and lil sis can have the pram :D
I'd be absolutely gutted to let it go.

There is also the Quattro tour deluxe with emmylou's got

Very smart looking pram!

Hi

The pushchair you like has been mimicked by a few makes now.

Mama's and Papa's have one called the o-zon (spelling?lol) seen it in argos for £300.

Silver Cross certainly do one. It is in the mothercare catalogue.

I have personally bought a mama's and papa's pliko. With primo viaggio surefix car seat and matching carry cot. The pliko is a nice, light, easy fold frame and car seat and carry cot fit easily onto it. One click system lol

Good luck hunting!

EDIT: went away to get some links!

Hope any of that was helpful x

I never had a travel system with either of my 2 boys, and really wish I had. Even DH has said we'll buy a buggy and carseat that fit together for this baby. So im going for a Bugaboo Gecko with Maxi Cosi cabrio :D :D

Aw, thanks Inpen - I did email these people and they're out of stock of the car seat and carrycot and don't plan to get any more in :( But they did they they'll be having some new ranges in after Easter and they'd contact me xx
