I need some advice, the hold I found working best for me is the 'rugby ball hold'. Ollie feeds from it brilliantly and latches really well. Nips are sore, a given 11 days into breast feeding but the real pains seem to be a nerve he catches which gives me pain in my atm and side. This seems to getting worse as his latch gets stronger. I'm a bit stuck on what to do as the position works for us. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you end up doing?

C had tongue tie and rugby ball hold was the only way he would latch on the left.

Have you had LO checked for TT? xx

I had to use this hold when feeding both twins t once but I didn't like it.
Have you tried lying down and feeding on your side? That's very similar I found x

No one has mentioned tongue tie, I'm more relaxed about feeding now he's gaining weight (10oz over birth weight after 11 days). So I might try other holds and see how we get on. It's also not very discreet for being out and about.
