I mash it he's on stage 2 food already he doesn't have a bottle before tea I never had this problem with Thomas at all I think I'm just going to have to do blw and leave him to it
Alyssa turns her nose up at processed ready made baby food lol but will eat pretty much anything im eating so im always giving her tastes of my tea etc, when shes a lil older and can spoon feed herself i'll just leave her to it but for now i let her help me spoon feed by letting her hold the spoon and guide it into her mouth and i just hold the end to try and minimize mess. once she figures out that it takes longer and she dosent get as much food she usually lets me feed her then. i also try and do 1 blw meal a day where she gets to feed herself toast / fish fingers / chicken / wedges etc so she feels like shes feeding herself and she seems to really enjoy it
Other than the Ella's Kitchen stuff, does he eat nothing at all? have you tried finger food. It might be he's just really independent. My 18mth old went straight onto finger food at 6 mths. She'd not really got the hang of spoon feeding because she's lactose intolerant. Its nearly impossible to find LF jars of food and she refused to eat my LF homemade 'mush'!! Lol
Anyway! She loved (and still does love) eating broccoli florets and roast chicken. Pasta with pesto. And cous cous with veg (quite random - but she helped herself to nanny's lunch on day!)
My HV from no. 1 and 2 recommended Skips crisps as a short term solution to not eating - they melt on the toungue so don't need much effort to eat and is an easy way to get calories in them.
