HELP please!! blocked duct?

I have woken up this morning and think I have a blocked duct on 1 side. Rest of boob is soft as she has fed off it but a big wedge is really engorged and painful. She won't feed anymore for a couple of hours and I have tried to pump and compress that boob but I don't think it has drained at all.....


What should I do?

I'm not an expert on this but I think I had a blocked duct a few weeks ago. I actually thought I had mastitus coming on as I had a painful hard lump and started shivering and feeling rough. I massaged it even though it killed and applied heat (went in shower and applied heat pack after) It didn't feel like I was really helping and I expected to be double rough in the morning, but by the morning it had gone.

I usuall give it a good massage and work all round it and actually on it. Then I express to see if it will empty.

Also shower can be good and massage at the same time.

I find just warmth alone won't shift it.

Went for a bath and massaged it under water and expressed which helped slightly then I made sure she fed off that side at her nap there so it is ok now.
