My dad is THE most difficult man to buy for :wall:

He isn't interested in anything at all :( he has no hobbies apart from badminton, he doesn't need a new raquet or trainers etc and I can hardly buy him shuttlecocks :eh:

I got him slippers for fathers day and there are only so many "useless info" books you can buy for someone.

Please give me some inspiration as to what I can get him for Christams (bar a grandchild lol) he doesn't need socks, shoes, clothes etc.

At least this proves I'm thinking about Christmas, but i'm still no further forward :(

Have a look at the firebox.com website. They sell all sorts of gadgets that you never knew you wanted. Then go and find it cheaper on another site :) I do that when I'm stuck but want to get something funky for DH.

Oh God he sounds exactly like my dad hes had shuttlecocks ever year for ages lol !! Last year he got the feathered ones cos he asked for them lol. xx

My mum suggested a gift experience for them to share, so I'll look into it :) x

Ninja I'm a fan of firebox, it's great for o/h who is a gadget freak :)

Night away?
Book them a meal?
Vouchers? :oooo:

They are quite adventurous for old folk, so I've got quite a range of options to go with. I'm wondering if I should do something in Ireland so they can see something new over here :eh: x

Honestly as my kids get older I'd really appreciate a weekend/night away or tickets to a show/comedy show :)

What joint experiences can you get? X

What badminton-playing dad wouldn't love this...

There's a steam train outing thing round their neck of the woods in England through some nice towns etc. MMh I'll have to look into it more, I'm sure there are loads of options x

Or one of these for the garden?
