help keep me sane!!

Hi everyone

Well I am using my OPK's this month, now on day 16 and no smiley face yet..(clearblue seemed the cheapest and most reliable!) I am concerned a bit cos my cycle has been over 44 days the last 2 months, do you think it is more likely that I ovulate really late? around day 28 or something..? or has anyone heard of anything else it could be?
I had a smear test last month (which seemed to throw everything right off) because I have also had some mid-month bleeding, but I don't have anything wrong (they even tested for under active thyroid) in that department guess I am just feeling a bit worried in general! Doesn't help that I will probably have like a 4ww after O!!!

Not an expert but from what I've read your luteal phase (after ovulation) is the most regular at 14 days for most of us so with a 44day cycle that would mean you would ovulate somewhere around day 30. so dont worry if you haven't had your smiley face yet it might just be that you haven't ovulated yet.
