help i'm so confused

Hi all,

I did a pregnancy test 4 weeks ago which was positive, i dont have regular periods so had no idea how far on i was. Went for a scan at what I thought would be 10 weeks but there was no heartbeat and the fetus only looked about 6, went back for a scan today and it has grown and there is a heartbeat but midwide believes i am only 6 weeks. How can this be as i got a positive 4 weeks ago? are you not pregnant for 2 weeks before you actually concieve?

Is this a bad sign?

hi hun, ss you are worried. i am not sure but i think that depending on when you ovulated this can affect your dates and also some pregnancies develop slower and this could be the case. i would discuss with your GP or your local epu and tell them you want more information but if they have not told you it is bad then it might be nothing to worry about. i hope everything goes ok. xxxx
