HELP!!! Computer stuff

OMG!! I've got 2 hours to get my assignment finished and somehow i've pressed that button that means when you type it deletes the words in front of it as you go, like writes over them, if you get me.

I'm not very computer literate and i cant figure out how to fix it, which means i cant type any more assignment atm as i'll delelte what i've already done

Stupid Dave has his stupid phone swithced off again grrrrrrrr so he cant help me

Someone must know how to do it, i know it's a really easy thing, but i cant for the life of my figure it out

It's the "Insert" key beside your "Home", "End" "Pge UP/Down" keys on the keyboard!

I feel like such a plonker but i can never remember which one it is and was frantically pressing every button possible lol
