help...advice needed quick

sorry i've put this here so it will be seen...Hayden seems ill...

hes been really crying for the last hour, was boiling hot so i stripped him down to his nappy and gave him some calpol, also sponged him down, hes cooled down a bit but hes gone all limp and sleepy..it was feed time at 5.00 and hes not interested in the slightest..hes just lying on the sofa..he feels all limp but hes not totally asleep just eye rolling!!

what shall i do?? tried to ring my mum she didnt answer..nhs direct was busy i'll try again!

if it was me id call an ambulance he seems really poorly or call the doctor out!!

thanks..i dont know wether to ring an ambulance..hes not got any rashes or anything..hes got one bright red spot on his tummy but it goes away when pressed!

NHS Direct was busy!!
What's his temperature? Can you get an amergency appointment for the doctors? Calpol can make them sleepy but he shouldn't be rolling his eyes. Ring docs and ask to speak to a doctor on the phone right there if you can. Hope he is okie xxx

best to get him checked out hun you are by no means wasting anyones time and it will give you peace of mind, theres a lot of viruses out and about that can knock you for six and it may be something simple best to be safe than sorry xx hope hes ok

thanks girls..got NHS direct and they just rang back (very quick for them!!) said to take him in.
my mum also called me back..i got him to drink a bit of his bottle and his temp has come down a lot (dont know what it was as my ear thermometer is crap) i'm taking him to A&E now to get him checked in case!! just waiting for my mum to get here to drive us.
