hello well the hot weather has arrived but for how long ive got a few questions lol as i was pregnant this time last year i havent a clue lol

what clothes do i put amy in and also coz where out most days what hat should i put on her and should she wear a cardigan or a light coat im really confused everytime i put even a dress on she gets to hot even in the flat i have all the windows open to

also as the warm weather is in amy wont drink her milk either shes being fusy with it she take her first bottle but refuse the rest shes 5 months tomorro should i drop her down to step 1 for a month or keep her on step to shell drink juice or eat her solids i do mix her solids with her milk.

shes growing and learning so fast lol she can now roll on to her belly and back over shes teething she can pull herself up in her slumber swing even thou she cant sit up yet and all she wants to do now is stand if you hold her and when i go out is worse shes like a two year old lol she hates going in her push chair shell have a paddy and tence her body up and push up like most 2 year olds do when they dont want to go in there push chair.

ooo one more thing lol how much of a jar of food do you give 5months old do they get half or do you give them the full jar

She's growing up so fast! Toby's the same with not wanting to go in the buggy or car seat most of the time.

No idea about the milk, sorry, but if Toby's in the house and it's really hot he's happy just in a vest top most of the time. If we're out and it's really sunny I'll put him in a light but long sleeved top so he's not too hot but the sun's not on his skin, and some light trousers. I try to keep him in the shade but he does wear a sun hat and sun cream too.

I'm not sure about the food either as Toby didn't have any until he was 6 months so he was only on really small amounts until about a month ago, but I've always given him as much as he wants to eat - he stops opening his mouth and gets grumpy as soon as he's had enough  It's really important that she's still getting enough milk and fluids at the moment though, but if you're worried she's not getting enough milk you can mix it in with her food - I used to put milk for Sam in loads of things, but if you're making her porridge, mash etc. it's easy to mix a bit in :)

As a minimum she should be drinking 20 oz of formula, more if possible at this age :) At this age milk will be more important than food so always offer milk first and drop back on the spoonfeeds if necessary :)

As for clothing, inside if your flat is warm nappy and vest and outside light clothing, cotton being the coolest. x

gotta thank you all because seeing as i'll be having my little girl soon and summer fast approaching i was wondering what kind of clothes to be putting her in, in the heat!
really helpful stuff :D

well shell drink about 5 oz for her first bottle and the rest of the bottles thru the day is between 3 and 4 im probably wasting more millk than shes drinking so what i thought if i give her her normal 6 oz bottles and offer her less but more often my health vistor has told me not to give her porriage just yet i think im going to put her down to step one for now coz i think shes feels to full with step two and i think thats why shes refusing to take it i can only trie lol i only give her to bowls of food a day or some times its just milk i know i cant force her to drink it but ill try and pursade her to some how lol
