Hello girls!!!!

hello girls!

Off to work...just wanted to say hi! Hope you are all well. Miss Gobby... I'm so glad you are having a good time being single...(personally I didn't enjoy it after the age of 18... I think I was ready to settle down...basically because I found dating several people just plain exhausting! lol) Again...just please be careful!

I'm still not symptom spotting (although MM is trying to make us have a break in willpower! :shakehead: lol)
I've still got a ways to go...but I'm not even sure when or if I ovulated... I may call and make a doctors appt today to see if I have or not. Then I'll just have to wait and see! I'm not even slightly feeling pregnant this month... just don't think it will have happened this month. But at least I'm getting to grips with my cycle a bit more...

Hope everyone has a great day...

works boring, at least I can go back into the office on monday as OH's laptop has just arrived :)

morning girlies :D I had a job interview this morning, just what I want on OV day  I hope I get it cos it's a clerical job in a school so would fit in with James when he starts school next month.

I hate my current job. I'm a supervisor in a supermarket and it sucks. Low pay, high stress, getting spoken down to and patronised by horrible customers all day. Get fed up with working 12-8.30pm too. And I miss my weekends, work 8.30am-6.30pm every single sunday

It's pissing it down with rain today, where did summer go?

thanks babylicious, I've been quite lucky with jobs until this one. I was working in an admin job for the council but because it was only a maternity cover position I had to find a job quickly after my contract ended. I really scraped the barrel with this one! Before that I was in an admin position at a university.
I've always worked in an office previously and this job has been a big shock to me. I'm pissed off at how badly paid supermarket workers are and how badly they're treated by the company. The amount of disrespect from customers is shocking too. The other day an old really posh man said to me 'you!...orange juice!' (poking his finger at me wanting me to get orange juice cos he'd forgotten it), then he says 'do you know what that is?' :rotfl: He was really posh as well and so far up his own arse. I felt like a kid being instructed by a teacher.
Maybe I've been pampered in the public sector for too long

Thats awful, I would do my nut and give them their answer. By I'm a fiesty one.

I used to work for comet in the head office in hull but I hate my boss and ended up giving her a mouthful and walking out after 4 years! I've been at npower for 2 years now and love it.

Fingers crossed you get the job, I bet you go then this month you'll get your bfp :)

That would be completely sods law. If I left a job where I could get maternity pay, then got a BFP after starting a new one.

What happens in that situation anyway? Do you get statutory maternity pay off the government?

I think so, but it's not that good. You maybe eligible for tax credits though?
