Hello girls!!!!

Can you imagine the rows when we all become pre-menstrual together? :rotfl: :rotfl:

So how long has everyone been trying for?

I came off the pill on 20th Jan 2007.

With Macaulay it took 6mths from stopping the pill & with Jordan 5 mths so I'm around the time I fell PG wiht Jordan now.

:rotfl: What a scary thought!

Can I join the OPK club next month. I already have my sticks ready, and I will NOT! be peeing on the till at least CD10!

3 bloody pages to read >< and i missed miss g

my syptoms for u miss g

tiredness (although im not sleepin in the day but im in bed earlier and waking up earlier)
nausea - especially with certain smells
af cramps 2 wks b4 shes due
a lil bleed (ib hopeully)
sore nips
LATE AF

im done with chepies now seems to be givin a lot of false result so im stickin to expensive ones.

This is my first cycle since having the coil removed so I don't really know when AF will arrive. The 28 days is just an estimate. I haven't spent very long without taking some kind of hormornal contraception since I was 16, so Im just rediscovering what my bodies supposed to do.

I fell PG with James accidently (I was always forgetting my pills  ), so this is the first time I've ever actually tried.

Skairdy: sounds like your BFP could be right around the corner. I've been "not preventing" pregnancy since our marriage which was March 4, 2006. We have only had the one pregnancy which ended in m/c at 8 wks. But this is the first month we will obsessively be trying!!! (everyone always says when you aren't worried about it is when it happens... but it's been over a year and nothing yet!)

My bold

I came off the pill about that time so we pretty much decided to TTC at the same time :)

Made the decision earlier this year - just had 4th try at donation...

Just wondering - if I keep trying for a year and get nothing - do you think the doctors will even agree to run tests on me seeing as I'm using a donor?

I'm sure they would hun
If not, change doctor or complain (better still, threaten to write to a newspaper)

But I don't want to be in the paper...I can imagine all the skeletons crawling out of the closet right now.... :rotfl:

Spose they could at least do the initial tests - at least we're trying by donor and not asking for a reversal or anything on the NHS :? So we're saving them money there :D

Hi Jemz

Looking quite promising for you there! I missed Miss G's post...here are my 'symptoms' (I sound like such a hypochondriac!)

* bad AF type pains about 4dpo (I think it was about then), followed by several days with a bad backache.
* weird bubbling type discomfort in right side somewhere towards the back.
* feeling a bit sick on and off
* finding it a lot harder to get up in the morning the last few days (may be cos of 4 hours sleep before working 9 hour shift on Sunday!)
* Headache in the last couple days
* Today started getting weird taste in mouth which seems related to the headache. Feel like my teeth are metal and its giving me an electric current in my head (!!!!! that sounds sooo hypochondriac!)
* feeling hungrier (maybe an excuse for stuffing my face)

I bet AF arrives on Saturday and then I'm gonna feel very stupid for making my body suffer psychological symptoms!

I haven't had any signs of ib to date. I know because I've been studying my pants like a woman possessed!

I didn't knwo that hun- screw it, I would ask them for a reversal as well (or is OH too scared??)

You've got nothing to lose by asking for one libs. My cousins hubby had a reversal and went on to have 2 more kids.

my mum had her tubes tied and she fell pregnant with my sister lol

OHs youngest son is 25 - he had the op that year - chance of success = less than 0.01% that's why we didn't bother :rotfl:

I haven't done a thing all day... My flat is a mess... and I just sit and stare at this screen all day!! You girls are bad for my health!!!

I know it's after dinner there... how did everyone's day go?

muppet mummy sounds SOOOOOOOO promising for you darling!!!!

I have been TTC for 6 months now :( started on the 15th December 2006 - never in a million years did i believe it would take this long - this forum has been a godsend though - couldnt live without it now lol!!!

just nipped on for 2 mins while everyone is out shhhh LOL

speak to you all in the morning xxxxxxxx

I haven't done much today either Jamie, but then I took today off work as holiday, and my sons been at nursery, so Im not gonna feel too bad about it.

Thanks for the encouragement Miss G. I hope it isn't too long before you get your BFP. I have gone into this expecting it to take months because its sods law that when its unplanned it will take you completely by surprise, and when you want it to happen it will take ages!

I am starting to wonder if I am coming down with something because my head is hurting quite a bit now and I feel a bit weird. Im gonna carry on with my ebay cheapie obsession and do another test tomorrow morning.
I honestly don't hold much hope of a BFP though, I think it would be a bit toogood to be true falling PG in the first cycle.

Im sure after 3 years away AF is gonna give me a good battering first
