My health visitor said i can give M finger foods !!! I know this isn't the case because of the choking risk etc but today M had pear and she knew exactly what to do aghh i don't know what to do as M won't eat baby rice etc but she'll happily have bits of fruit and veg !

amelia had finger food at 17 weeks i was just carefu and sat next to her incase of any choking x

I gave charley some toast around 4 months. Just keep an eye on your LO x x

Evie was staring at my orange so i let her hold a piece and she was tasting it and "gumming" it. I was too scared to letr her have it completley so took it away.

GOing to start with baby rice next week!

Every baby is different and will do different things at different ages, maybee purees are less her thing , I would take it slow and i'm sure you sit right with her anyway to keep a close eye.
