health in pregnancy form

i sent mine off when i turned 25 weeks. im now 29 weeks and have heard nothing. i called up last tuesday asking what was going on and they said my details werent even on the system yet and they would get head office to call me. still waiting for the call.

anyone know how long it should take?
do you think i'll get it before xmas?

I've heard they have a big backlog because of those postal strikes and that they're saying to only phone them if you've not had it after 8 weeks. I posted mine 4th Nov and still no sign but not bothered ringing up yet because I'll just get told they're backlogged xx

great! my babys due in 10 weeks but i may be having him taken out early due to complications. and if youve had your baby, they dont give it to you. hopefully i'll get it soon. probably not before xmas then..

Blah! I feel your pain, I sent mine away at 25 weeks and didn't get it until 30! I rang to enquire and was told my doctor had put the wrong due date on (If the due date she wrote had have been correct I would be having a 16 month pregnancy) I rang three times and finally got the ball rolling.. Hope yours comes through soon x

i called again, and was told i was still not even on the system and that (this is very hard to believe) they only have ONE perrson opening the forms to put them on the system ?

i was then told to expect to be waiting another 8 weeks on top of the 4 ive already waited!!! whats the point in saying it takes 3-4 weeks when it clearly doesnt.

my baby will probably arrive before that money.

About a month then. They must be inundated. I'm sending mine on weds so hopefully mid to the end of January given the Christmas hols will slow things.

My friends came through within a matter of 3-4 days, this was before the postal strike though.. My £500 sure start grant was in in 3 days x

I sent mine off last weekend (I only got the form at my 28 week appointment) so hoping I have it by the middle of January.

i got my money today!! was suprising since i was told to wait a total of 12 weeks...

it took 5 weeks from the day i sent it off.
